PaddlePath
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
PaddlePath ("we", "us") is a pickleball learning app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions? Email info@paddlepath.app.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your name and profile photo as provided by Google.
- Learning data — your progress, XP, streaks, badges, quiz results, practice goals, and any profile info you add (first name, skill level, goals).
- Optional content — a profile photo you upload, and short video frames you submit for Coach Pip's analysis (processed to generate feedback; see below).
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage & technical data — basic app interactions and AI-usage counts used to run features and enforce free-tier limits.
How we use it
- To provide the app: save your progress, sync it across your devices, personalize coaching, and run Coach Pip's chat and video analysis.
- To operate accounts, process payments, and enforce plan entitlements and free-tier limits.
- To improve the product and keep it secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We share data only with vendors that help us run PaddlePath: Supabase (database & auth), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (the AI that powers Coach Pip's chat and video analysis), Google (optional sign-in), and Resend (transactional email). Video frames sent for analysis are processed to return feedback and are not used to train third-party models.
Storage on your device
We use your browser's local storage to keep your progress working offline and to remember preferences (like which daily tip you've seen). Signing out clears this device's copy.
Data retention & your choices
- You can reset your progress in the app at any time, or request that we delete your account and associated data.
- To access, export, or delete your data, email info@paddlepath.app from your account email.
Children
PaddlePath is intended for users 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
This is a general policy for an independent learning app. For your specific legal obligations (GDPR/CCPA, etc.), have it reviewed by qualified counsel.
